Apprenticeship Programme
There are many opportunities open in Construction, to support this we have been running our current Apprenticeship programme for 10 years which we are immensely proud of.
Our programme seeks to develop and retain our own ‘home grown’ talent with the passing down of knowledge from generation to generation and ensuring that our choice of tradesmen for the future have matured with us and absorbed the values of the company - a reputation for quality building offering expertise and reliability.
We offer a wide range of apprenticeships including groundworks, carpentry, painting and decorating, bricklaying and trainee Quantity Surveyors.
Our apprentices come from a range of backgrounds; local schools/colleges, career changers, people transitioning from the armed forces and veterans and through supported employment initiatives including those run by Essex County Council.
We have a fantastic team of Apprentices on board, take a look at our video to find out more…
We advise anyone starting an apprenticeship with us that although the apprenticeship may be for 3 years - it is only the beginning! We instil in all our apprentices that the first 3 years is to learn their craft but the next 3 years is about becoming a skilled tradesman.
We are always looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our growing team, the opportunities are there to explore!
Awards
We have supported local awards for the apprentices, to not only promote our apprentices locally but to give them a further sense of achievement.
Local awards include: -
- National Federation of Builders – Suffolk Area Joint Consultative Committee
- The Suffolk Show’s Skill Competition
- ECTA Excellent Trainee Awards
- Tendring Blue Ribbon Awards
- National Apprenticeship Service Awards
- CITB Barry & Peggy Awards
Current Apprentices / Trainees:

The current Apprenticeship Programme has trained 26 apprentices and 7 QS Trainees in the last decade
We are proud of all of our staff and work very hard to ensure that we create an environment which is a great place for everyone to work.
Many of our team have grown up with the business, starting from apprenticeships and continuing to enjoy happy, fulfilled and rewarding careers.
