Quantity Surveyor

Experienced commercially minded Quantity Surveyor required to join our existing team dealing with a multi disciplined range of contracts across Essex and Suffolk. Full time role to control all contract matters including valuations, variations, measurement, subcontractor supply chains and financial management from procurement to final account.

Ideal applicants will have several years experience and be keen to progress their career further with a strong expanding construction and development business. An excellent remuneration / package will be available for the right candidates.

Requirements/Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in commercial construction
• Degree level Quantity Surveying qualification or similar
• Strong analytical skills
• knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Knowledge of commonly used standard forms of contract such as JCT and trade contract agreements.
• Solid understanding of cost control principles and techniques
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full UK Driving licence
