‘Step into STEM’ Primary Event

We were very proud to take part in the ‘Step into STEM’ event at The Prince’s Theatre.

The event, organised by the NHS, had a focus on Year 6 students from across Tendring with ‘the aim to get them thinking about their future and ensure seeds are sown early enough for it to impact their studies just before they start at secondary school, to raise aspirations and widen career horizons to ensure these students are given a solid foundation to begin their career journey, giving the students the best start in life.’

It gave us the opportunity to speak with students and teachers about working in construction dispelling some of those construction myths, students also had the opportunity to have a hands on experience laying some bricks – definitely some future bricklayers seen today!
