Rose Builders Shines at the Chelmsford Skills Festival

We proudly participated in the recent ‘Chelmsford Skills Festival’ held at ARU Writtle, marking a significant and successful day filled with engaging activities and career insights for Year 8 students. The festival welcomed approximately 1,200 school children and 86 teachers from eight local secondary schools, offering them an opportunity to explore various job sectors and future careers through interactive and hands-on experiences.

Students from Chelmer Valley High, the Sandon School Academy Trust, Hylands School, The Boswells School, William de Ferrers School, Great Baddow High School and Beaulieu Park School eagerly participated in the event. The Rose Builders’ team was thrilled to host the ‘Building a Lasting Legacy Marquee’, where students were introduced to the dynamic and rewarding careers available in the construction industry.

“We had great fun in the ‘Building a Lasting Legacy Marquee,’ but most importantly, we were able to speak to many children about future careers in construction,” said Claire Wright at Rose Builders. “Engaging with these young minds and inspiring them about the possibilities within the construction sector was truly rewarding.”

The festival was a resounding success, providing invaluable career guidance to students and helping them understand the skills and opportunities in various industries.
