Rising Star
Apprentice Ethan Awarded the Barry & Peggy Scholarship for Outstanding Commitment.
We are proud to announce that Ethan, one of our dedicated apprentices, has been awarded the prestigious Barry & Peggy Scholarship. This esteemed award, designed to recognise young people who go above and beyond in their apprenticeship roles, rewards recipients with £1,500 towards tools and further education.
The Barry & Peggy Scholarship saw an overwhelming number of applicants this year, making the selection process highly competitive. Ethan’s exceptional dedication to his craft and commitment to personal and professional growth stood out, earning him this remarkable achievement.
Ethan joined us in 2021 as a site labourer, where he quickly developed a strong interest in carpentry. By September of the same year, he seized the opportunity to begin an apprenticeship in carpentry, where his natural talent shone through. Though initially reserved and occasionally finding communication with others challenging, Ethan has grown into a highly respected and valued member of the our team.
He is currently studying for his Level 3 Carpentry qualification at Suffolk Rural Campus, with completion expected in early 2025.
Alan Bridgman expressed his pride in Ethan’s achievements: “We are thrilled to see Ethan recognised with the Barry & Peggy Scholarship. His commitment to his apprenticeship and the way he has developed both personally and professionally is truly inspiring. Ethan has embraced every challenge and continues to thrive in his carpentry studies. We look forward to supporting him through the remainder of his apprenticeship and beyond.”
Congratulations Ethan and we look forward to witnessing your continued success.
