Regatta Trophy Comes Home

THE TROPHY COMES HOME !!

Despite some strong opposition, our team of titans, brought home the ‘MENS TUG OF WAR – Stour Sailing Regatta’ trophy at the weekend. Our ladies team put in a strong performance but sadly didn’t progress to the final.

The ‘tug across the mud’ event has been going since 1978 and is one of the key highlights of the Stour Sailing Club Regatta, along with the race across the river.

Hopefully, next year we’ll see both trophies on the wall, come and have a go if you think your hard enough !!
