Every ROSE home comes with a 10-year new homes warranty and insurance policy, the first two years of which are covered directly by ROSE.

ROSE Site Manager Wins Prestigious National Award for House Building Quality
We are proud to announce that our Site Manager, Gavin Pullen and his team at Lawford Green have received the Best in Region (South East) Medium-Sized Housebuilder Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) at the esteemed Pride in the Job Awards. This award underscores their commitment to delivering exceptional, high-quality homes.
This highly coveted Regional Accolade is only awarded to those individual Site Managers who were awarded an NHBC Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence after they gained a Quality Award in the first round of the competition in June. Gavin Pullen will now go forward to compete for the ultimate prize in house building, the Pride in the Job Supreme Awards.
NHBC Chief Executive Steve Wood commented, "For over four decades, Pride in the Job has upheld our commitment to raising house-building standards across the UK. The competition celebrates site managers who excel in quality, safety, and on-time delivery of new homes."

Rose awarded 5 Star Customer Satisfaction
Rose are delighted to have been awarded the prestigious 5-star customer satisfaction award from the Home Builders Federation.
The annual survey is one of the most comprehensive, large-scale surveys of its type carried out in the UK. Since its launch, well over half a million survey returns have been received making it one of the most comprehensive continuous industry research exercises in the country.
Stewart Baseley, Executive Chairman of the The Home Builders Federation HBF said: “To achieve a 5-star rating, whereby more than 90% of their customers would recommend them, is a considerable achievement for a builder and one that reflects the successful running of an organisation and hard work of its teams.”
The scores reflect the huge industry focus on build quality and customer service over recent years. Whilst volumes have continued to increase the industry has been through a massive recruitment and training drive to ensure it has the capacity to deliver high quality homes of the standard customers quite rightly expect.

We are committed to ensuring you receive the highest standard of service and you enjoy the unique experience of purchasing and living in your Rose home. To reinforce this all our homes are sold inline with the Consumer Code for Home Builders (“the Code”). The Code was developed by the home-building industry to make the home buying process fairer and more transparent for purchasers.
Buying a brand new home is an exciting time. But with a new home being one of the largest investments you’re likely to make, it’s important that you understand the process, what you’re buying and what help is available should problems arise.
The Code is designed to help you understand what levels of service to expect from your builder, feel fully informed about your purchase and know your consumer rights before and after you move in. In the unlikely event that problems arise, a speedy, free dispute resolution scheme is available to deal with complaints about breaches of the Code.
The Code covers most homes built in the UK by Home Builders who register with the UK’s main new Home Warranty Bodies: NHBC; Premier Guarantee; LABC Warranty and Checkmate. In some cases, other codes apply so check with your builder or warranty provider – you should be given a copy of the relevant code scheme with your reservation agreement.

- Clear and truthful advertising and marketing materials
- Sufficient pre-purchase information to enable you to make an informed decision about your purchase
- Effective customer service training for customer-facing staff
- Contact details for your Home Builder and other relevant bodies

- Contract information including your termination rights
- Timing of construction, completion and handover
- An accessible after-sales service
- A complaints process

History
Rose Builders is a family-owned company, formed in 1995 and steeped in the tradition of building and customer service.
It is the company that evolved from H L Rose & Sons established around 1896 and trading through four generations into the current Rose Builders Limited.
The business was founded by Harry Rose, a bricklayer who came to Mistley in the 1890s. At the time Mistley had become a major centre of the late 19th-century malt industry and the expansion of the maltings buildings provided the basis of the business.
The business expanded into housing, and through the 1920’s and 30’s created many of the ribbon developments seen today throughout Mistley, Manningtree and Lawford.
Today, the company has a workforce of over 200, supplemented by specialist subcontractors. We work across a wide spectrum of sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, education, housing and healthcare and carry out new build, refurbishment and extension projects. Our residential development for sale is a rapidly expanding part of the business. We resource this from our direct labour force of skilled craftspeople, in-house joinery shop and plant division together with our supply chain.
We believe that the success of Rose Builders Limited is founded on a reputation in the community for high quality, traditional workmanship combined with our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
