Leading Training Space for our future nurses and dentists – University of Essex

We have been on the University maintenance framework for seven years but have a 40 year association with the University.

Our latest work involved the full refurbishment and reconfiguration of the 1st floor of the Gateway Building at the Southend campus of the University of Essex. The new space now a nursing lab comprising of a drugs prep space, teaching station, 4no nursing beds with full nurse call system and new monitors with each. 2 therapy teaching stations, 1 community living space with a peoples hoist and surrounding consultation rooms and offices. The dental space now includes 26no phantom head practice chairs and surrounding consultation rooms.

Our framework site manager is based at the main campus and has his own office and compound with a team of four multi-trade workers.

We are also on the University of Essex construction framework where we have carried out several larger projects. By having a place on both frameworks, we have developed a workforce with considerable knowledge of the University’s estate, which means that we can offer a high value and flexible service.
