We had a brilliant time at the Daniel Connal Partnership’s annual Sandcastle Competition on the beautiful beach at Frinton! The sun shone, the North Sea sparkled, and the rain held off—perfect sandcastle weather.

This year’s theme was ‘Grand Designs’, and Team Rose went all in with our take on ‘Julie’ from Grayson Perry’s House for Essex.

Sadly, we didn’t take home the trophy (congrats to the show-offs at KLH Architects Ltd on their debut win!), but we had a blast and can’t wait to be back on the sand in 2026.
