Extreme Abseil!

A huge congratulations to our incredible ROSEBUD’s who took on the Extreme Abseil at Ipswich Hospital Tower on Saturday 3rd May—descending an impressive 135 feet (41m) to support a truly meaningful cause.

They were raising vital funds for the Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity Butterfly Appeal, which supports the Butterfly Service—a compassionate program that ensures no one dies alone.

Trained volunteers provide comfort, company, and emotional support to patients in their final days, while also offering guidance and a listening ear to their loved ones. Their presence brings dignity, peace, and connection at life’s most vulnerable moment.

We’re incredibly proud of our team for their courage, commitment, and compassion—not just for stepping off a ledge, but for stepping up for others.
