Come visit us at the Tendring Show
Come and join the fun this year at the Tendring Show on Saturday 8 July at Lawford House Park, Lawford. The Tending Show is Essex County’s Premier Agricultural Event, attracting in the region of circa 22 – 23,000 visitors for the one-day event.
This year for the first time we will have a trade stand exhibiting all that is wonderful about Rose, please do come and visit us.
We are also involved in creating the Theme Area this year, our chosen theme ‘Creativity in the Countryside’. There will be lots going on and family activities to get involved with including:
- Live sand sculpture and workshops
- Speed chainsaw carvings
- Live forge – Artist, sculptor & designer at work
- Potter, ‘Have a go’ workshops
- Woodturner, a tutor and demonstrator
- Live art display
- Have a go bricklaying and plastering and for the younger children building with ‘waffle’ bricks
- Hasty’s Animals
- Straw bale tractor and obstacle course
- Play and get creative in our sandpit
- Create a cardboard living wall
The area will be as interactive as possible and interesting for all ages. So come, see – touch, feel, try, have a go, be inspired and get creative – it feels good!
