Celebrating Clair’s Remarkable Journey

We are thrilled and immensely proud to share that our very own Clair Block has accomplished an extraordinary feat—completing the London Marathon this past weekend!

Clair’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. In 2012, she faced a daunting prognosis after a severe leg and knee injury, being told she would never run again. Demonstrating unwavering determination, she defied the odds by completing the Brighton Marathon in 2017. Yet, the dream of conquering London remained—and this Sunday, amidst challenging heat and emotions, she crossed that iconic finish line.

Beyond the physical triumph, Clair has been on a heartfelt mission, raising nearly £3,000 for Cancer Research UK . Her motivation is deeply personal:

“Cancer has taken so much from our family—our Mum at just 51, our Nan the very next day, dear friends, and my father-in-law. I’ve also witnessed the strength of a beautiful friend who fought and won. This journey has been deeply personal, and the fight is far from over.”

Clair’s dedication contributes to the vital work of Cancer Research UK, which has been instrumental in doubling cancer survival rates in the UK over the past 50 years.
