Leisure + Retail

Completed in August 2018, the development consists of five new restaurants providing Colchester with a 21st century food retail facility. The resturants consist of; Drive through KFC, drive through Starbucks, Nandos, Bella Italia and Coast to Coast. The Work included the highest standards of hardscape and landscaping.  

The construction of a new 25m long, 5.5m wide traditional flush deck swimming pool with balance tank, sauna, changing facilities, pool storage areas and linking corridor to the main leisure facilities. The existing pool was decommissioned and demolished.  

A 37m X 64m flood lit coloured permeable asphalt MUGA (Multi-Use-Games-Area) constructed for Manningtree High School. Constructed during the 2016 summer, opening ready for the new school term on 5 September 2016.  

This project was to refurbish a former Keddies department store that had lain empty for 22 years.  It was located in the centre of Colchester on a busy one way through road leading to one of the town’s railway station.
