Breaking New Ground at Lawford Green

We are delighted to announce that ground has been broken, to lay the foundations for the first homes, on the second phase, at Lawford Green.

The second phase of Lawford Green will provide 140 new 2,3-,4- and 5-bedroom homes consisting of a mixture of popular and new house types offering a wide variety of choice to new homeowners.

We will also be providing 14 new 2-bedroom homes within the second phase which will be gifted to the Lawford Housing Enterprise Trust (LHET).

The LHET promotes social inclusion amongst local ‘Eligible Young Persons’ who have a real and tangible connection to the relevant Parish or Local Authority Ward, in which the LHET owns dwellings.

The scheme provides good quality housing at affordable rents for young people. After a period of time, a proportion of the tenant’s rent will be refunded as a lump sum to put towards a deposit to buy their own home.
