Be inspired! A career in Construction

Our construction ambassadors have had a very busy start to the summer, engaging with young people across north Essex, from schools and workplaces to careers fairs and events, sharing the fantastic opportunities available in our industry.

Some events included:

Mock Interviews, Stanway

To help build confidence, mock interviews were conducted with Stanway’s year 10 students. Helpful hints and tips were offered on how best to present their CV going forward.

Clacton Coastal Academy Careers

A very well attended and enjoyable event for students from years 7 to 11. There was a lot of interest in the construction industry shown from all different ages and genders.

Shorefields School, Clacton

An event for children with special educational needs who thoroughly enjoyed putting on their hard hats and hi-vis and were very tactile with the feel of the bricks. It was a privilege to work with the school and see the enjoyment of the children.

Colchester Institute Careers Event

An event for college students and parents where a lot of interest was shown in the apprenticeships we offer.
