Age is just a number!

We recently held a farewell breakfast for the legendary Bob Christmas, who, after more than 50 years of working as a contractor for the Rose family, is hanging up his excavator keys. To honour his incredible contributions, over 60 of his colleagues, past and present, gathered at Lawford Green for a breakfast and presentations.

Bob has dedicated most of his life to the construction and farming industry—soil runs through his veins and diesel is certainly in his DNA.

Steven Rose commented, “Bob is a hugely knowledgeable, hardworking, wise man. He knows how to do a job, do it well, and waste no time doing it. He will be sorely missed.”
