Market Field School Site Visit

Respect, Excellence, Friendship – These are the guiding principles of Market Field School, values that resonate deeply with us. That’s why we were thrilled to welcome some of their remarkable students to our Lawford Green development, providing them with an immersive experience of an active construction site.

Market Field School caters to students aged 5-16 with moderate learning difficulties. Every day, they have the privilege of working with incredibly unique children who never cease to inspire, captivate, and educate. Embracing a progressive approach, the school recognises the individuality of each child, striving to provide the support, guidance, and opportunities necessary for success in an environment where they feel secure, valued, and empowered.

Our team at Lawford Green was eager to offer the students a glimpse behind the scenes of a functioning construction site. They had the chance to observe carpenters, groundworkers, plant operators, and machinery in action. The sight of a 360° machine showcasing its capabilities – spinning, extending its boom, and the operator deftly manoeuvring the bucket – was a particular highlight for them.

It was truly heartening to witness the children’s excitement as they explored our site, enriching their learning journey through the world of work.
