New facilities at New Hall School, Chelmsford

We were delighted to hand over our project at New Hall School, a new build laundry room, uniform shop and a new 2 classbase block. The new facilities replaced old portacabins which had come to the end of their life.

Whilst carrying out the works special consideration and attention had to be given to an existing listed garden wall, that run along the rear elevations of both buildings, these works involved installing temporary works to ensure the stability of the wall was not compromised whilst the new buildings were constructed.

The finished result is a wonderful, practical new space for the school, finished in Flemish bond brickwork, timber weatherboarding with a welsh slate roof and PV panels.
