A House for Essex

A House for Essex

Externally the building is clad in ceramic tiles as rain screen cladding over a masonry structure.

Aurubis gold sheet copper metal roofing.

Whilst a ‘simple structure’ there is little room for tolerance with ceramics being ‘unforgiving’ and the building is adorned with statues and sculptures enabling the building to be a totally unique building in the countryside.

The house is very highly engineered with fittings and furnishings internally that are more akin to the theatre.

It depicts and talks the story of Julie Cope an Essex girl and her travels and life through Essex.
