Contracts Manager – Commercial Team

In response to continued growth across our commercial works Rose Builders are looking for a Contracts Manager with experience in industrial, commercial, retail, residential, agricultural, healthcare, military and education sectors.

The role is a great opportunity to join our business and innovate the continued delivery from this versatile team. The core responsibilities are to manage and motivate the operational teams across several sites and ensure works are completed accurately and on time.

We work across a variety of locations but predominantly in North Essex and South Suffolk.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor site progress and day to day operations
• Manage project teams, ensuring performance against programme and budgets
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues and subcontractors on each contract
• Maintain a proactive culture towards the health and safety of all aspects of the site
• Completion of a wide range of projects on time and to a high standard
• Mentoring and coaching of staff

Your Experience and Skills

• Contract Management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Previous career path to include Site Manager responsibility and H&S
• Excellent, communication, relationship building and people management skills
• Good budget control skills
• Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines
• Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills
• Relevant construction qualification (desirable)
• Knowledge of construction regulations
• Proficiency in Asta Powerproject (preferred)
• Full driving licence
